The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Iota Bulldogs (Iota, LA) and the visiting Mamou Demons (Mamou, LA), witnessed Iota's football squad knock off Mamou by a tally of 29-0.

The Bulldogs (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Northwest (Opelousas, LA). The Raiders enter the 3A District 4 contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Northwest gained a win over Crowley (Crowley, LA), 49-0, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Demons battle the Pine Prairie Panthers (Pine Prairie, LA) in a 3A District 4 contest, on Friday, November 8. Mamou will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record.
