The Lindsay Knights walloped the visiting Santo Wildcats football team by a score of 49-14 in Friday's league test.

The Knights now hold a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Era for a 2A-2 Region II District 8 test on Friday, November 8. Lindsay will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 46-13 league win over Chico (Chico, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 5-4.

With the defeat, Santo drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Collinsville (Collinsville, TX) to face the Pirates in a 2A-2 Region II District 8 challenge on Friday, November 8. The Pirates go into the challenge with a record of 8-1. Collinsville lost 34-20 in their recent league challenge against Muenster (Muenster, TX)
