The Mt. Pleasant Tigers walloped the visiting Nacogdoches Dragons football team by a score of 57-7 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers play the Hallsville Bobcats (Hallsville, TX) in a 5A-2 Region II District 7 challenge, on Friday, November 8. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Bobcats go into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 35-7 league loss to Marshall (Marshall, TX).

The Dragons (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Texas (Texarkana, TX). The Tigers go into the 5A-2 Region II District 7 challenge with a 9-0 record. In their last challenge, Texas bounced Jacksonville (Jacksonville, TX), 48-7, in a league challenge.
