The Whitewright Tigers walloped the host Nocona Indians football team by a score of 42-0 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Trenton Tigers (Trenton, TX) in a 2A-1 Region II District 6 challenge, on Friday, November 8. Whitewright will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 34-0 league loss to Tom Bean (Tom Bean, TX).

The Indians (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Tioga (Tioga, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 2A-1 Region II District 6 challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Tioga bounced Wolfe City (Wolfe City, TX), 60-36, in a league challenge.
