The Northlake Christian Wolverines football squad scored 20 points and limited the visiting St. Helena College and Career Academy Hawks to 14 in the Wolverines league triumph on Friday.

The Wolverines now sport a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Independence for a 2A District 9 test on Friday, November 8. Northlake Christian will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 14-8 league loss to St. Thomas Aquinas (Hammond, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-8.

With the defeat, St. Helena College and Career Academy drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Hawks host Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA) to meet the Jaguars in a 2A District 9 test on Friday, November 8. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 7-2. Pope John Paul II lost 42-21 in their recent non-league test against Pearl River (Pearl River, LA)
