In Friday's non-league match, the host Pocahontas County Warriors football squad scored a good 47-20 triumph over the Tygarts Valley Bulldogs.
The Warriors (2-7) will now prepare for their match against Webster County (Upper Glade, WV). The Highlanders come into the non-league match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Webster County defeated Calhoun (Mt. Zion, WV), 44-13, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Bulldogs confront the Oak Glen Golden Bears (New Cumberland, WV) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 8. Tygarts Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Golden Bears come into the match with a 0-9 record after their 21-14 non-league loss to Madonna (Weirton, WV).
