Texas High School Football - Riverside sneaks past Ysleta

November 1, 2024: El Paso, TX 79915

The Riverside Rangers football squad scored 24 points and limited the visiting Ysleta Indians to 20 in the Rangers league triumph on Friday.

The Rangers now hold a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fabens for a 4A-1 Region I District 1 test on Friday, November 8. Riverside will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 62-6 league loss to Irvin (El Paso, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-8.

With the defeat, Ysleta drops to 7-2 on the campaign. The Indians host Bowie (El Paso, TX) to meet the Bears in a 4A-1 Region I District 1 test on Friday, November 8. The Bears come into the test with a record of 3-5. Bowie lost 41-7 in their recent league test against Austin (El Paso, TX)
