California High School Football - Sequoia sneaks past San Mateo

November 1, 2024: San Mateo, CA 94401

The Sequoia Ravens football squad scored 13 points and limited the host San Mateo Bearcats to 7 in the Ravens league triumph on Friday.

The Ravens now sport a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Carlmont for a Peninsula - Ocean test on Friday, November 8. Sequoia will meet a Scots squad coming off a 27-19 league loss to Half Moon Bay (Half Moon Bay, CA). The Scots record now stands at 5-4.

With the defeat, San Mateo drops to 7-2 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Burlingame (Burlingame, CA) to meet the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, November 9. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 6-3. Burlingame lost 21-7 in their recent league test against Capuchino (San Bruno, CA)
