St. Andrew's Cardinals (Middletown, DE) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Seaford Bluejays (Seaford, DE), 17-6 in a league battle.

With the win, St. Andrew's improves its record to 2-7 on the season. The Cardinals host Brandywine (Wilmington, DE) to play the Bulldogs in a 1A District 2 battle on Saturday, November 9. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 5-4. Brandywine won 38-35 in their recent league battle against Polytech (Woodside, DE)

The Bluejays now have a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Conrad Science for a 1A District 2 battle on Friday, November 8. Seaford will play a Red Wolves team coming off a 50-20 league loss to Indian River (Dagsboro, DE). The Red Wolves record now stands at 4-5.
