In Friday's league match, the host Wakefield Memorial Warriors football squad scored a close 31-28 victory over the Stoneham Spartans.
The Warriors (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Melrose (Melrose, MA). The Red Raiders enter the Middlesex - Freedom match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Melrose got by Wilmington (Wilmington, MA), 48-7, in a league match.
