Stonington Bears (Stonington, CT) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Oxford Wolverines (Oxford, CT), 5-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Stonington moves its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Lewis Mills (Burlington, CT) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league test on Monday, November 4. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 12-5. Lewis Mills won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Sheehan (Wallingford, CT)

The Wolverines now sport a 9-8 record.
