The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the North Pole Patriots (North Pole, AK) and the visiting Homer Mariners (Homer, AK), witnessed North Pole's ice hockey team defeat Homer by a score of 13-1.
The Patriots (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Wasilla (Wasilla, AK). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Wasilla ran past South Anchorage (Anchorage, AK), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Mariners battle the Bartlett Golden Bears (Anchorage, AK) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 21. Homer will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record.
