Maine High School Football - Spruce Mountain triumphant over Lake Region

November 1, 2025: Naples, ME 04055

The Lake Region Lakers football team (Naples, ME), was crushed 44-8 in Saturday's non-league bout with the visiting Spruce Mountain Phoenix (Jay, ME)

With the win, Spruce Mountain advances its record to 7-1 on the season. The Phoenix travel to Mt. Ararat (Topsham, ME) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, November 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 8-1. Mt. Ararat won 44-14 in their recent non-league battle against Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME)

The Lakers now own a 4-5 record.

Congratulations to #5 Owen Kelvey (overall and defensive), #6 Dylan Jewett (offensive) and #58 Mason Harlow (special teams) for being selected the Spruce Mountain Football Players of the Game.
