The Dutchtown Griffins (Geismar, LA) volleyball knocked off the host St. Scholastica Doves (Covington, LA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Griffins now hold a 23-11 record. They take the field next when they host Benjamin Franklin for a non-league match on Saturday, November 1. Dutchtown will battle a Falcons squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA). The Falcons record now stands at 18-14.
The Doves (25-10) will now prepare for their match against Archbishop Hannan (Covington, LA). The Hawks come into the non-league bout with a 31-9 record. In their last bout, Archbishop Hannan defeated Academy of the Sacred Heart (New Orleans, LA), 3-0, in a non-league bout.
