In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Yorktown Tigers volleyball squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the Floyd Central Highlanders.

Next up, the Tigers face the Plainfield Quakers (Plainfield, IN) in a non-league game, on Saturday, November 1. Yorktown will attempt to advance on its 26-7 season record. The Quakers go into the game with a 27-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Lawrence North (Indianapolis, IN).
