Caledonia Cavaliers (Caledonia, MS) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Fayette County Tigers (Fayette, AL), 70-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Caledonia upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Aberdeen (Aberdeen, MS) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 16. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 0-4. Aberdeen lost 53-45 in their recent non-league bout against Shannon (Shannon, MS)

Next up, the Tigers play the Lamar County Bulldogs (Vernon, AL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, November 15. Fayette County will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
