Rhode Island High School Football - Coventry gets by Mt. Hope

The Coventry Oakers football squad scored 36 points and limited the host Mt. Hope Huskies to 33 in the Oakers non-league win on Thursday.

The Oakers now possess a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to West Warwick for a non-league battle on Thursday, November 24. Coventry will play a Wizards squad coming off a 14-7 non-league loss to Middletown (Middletown, RI). The Wizards record now stands at 7-3.

Coming up next, the Huskies play the Barrington Eagles (Barrington, RI) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, November 24. Mt. Hope will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Eagles go into the battle with a 5-4 record after their 35-20 non-league win over Mt. Pleasant (Providence, RI).
