V.R. Eaton Eagles (Fort Worth, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Chisholm Trail Rangers (Fort Worth, TX), 41-13 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, V.R. Eaton upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Lake Travis (Austin, TX) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 12. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a record of 4-1. Lake Travis lost 39-36 in their recent non-league bout against Trinity (Trinity, TX)

Next up, the Rangers play the Permian Panthers (Odessa, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 10. Chisholm Trail will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
