Vandegrift Vipers (Austin, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Marshall Rams (San Antonio, TX), 69-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Vandegrift upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Vipers travel to Austin (Austin, TX) to clash with the Maroons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 14. The Maroons go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Austin lost 47-34 in their recent non-league bout against Round Rock (Round Rock, TX)

Next up, the Rams clash with the Jay Mustangs (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 14. Marshall will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 64-58 non-league win over Edison (San Antonio, TX).
