The Wilbur Cross Governors football team (New Haven, CT), was ripped 47-6 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Amity Regional Spartans (Woodbridge, CT)
The Spartans (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Guilford (Guilford, CT). The Grizzlies come into the non-league challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, Guilford trounced East Lyme (East Lyme, CT), 54-14, in a non-league challenge.
The Governors now sport a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Xavier for a non-league challenge on Friday, November 17. Wilbur Cross will meet a Falcons team coming off a 34-23 league loss to Shelton (Shelton, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 6-3.
