The Byrd Yellow Jackets football team (Shreveport, LA), was beaten 23-2 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Jesuit Blue Jays (New Orleans, LA)

The Blue Jays (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Holy Cross (New Orleans, LA). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Holy Cross achieved victory over East St. John (Reserve, LA), 56-19, in a non-league challenge.

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 4-7 record.
