    In Friday's non-league match, the host Grimsley Whirlies football squad scored a big 56-24 victory over the Sun Valley Spartans.

    In their next game, the Whirlies clash with the Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 17. Grimsley will attempt to move on its 12-0 season record. The Huskies enter the match with a 11-1 record after their 45-12 non-league win over Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC).
