Cushing Bearkats (Cushing, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Trinity Tigers (Trinity, TX), 46-19 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cushing upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Bearkats travel to Hudson (Lufkin, TX) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 16. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Tigers play the Groveton Indians (Groveton, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 14. Trinity will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 56-12 non-league loss to Pollok Central (Pollok, TX).
