South Knox Spartans (Vincennes, IN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pike Central Chargers (Petersburg, IN), 73-9 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, South Knox upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Northeast Dubois (Dubois, IN) to play the Jeeps in a Blue Chip bout on Tuesday, November 14. The Jeeps come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Northeast Dubois lost 44-34 in their recent league bout against North Knox (Bicknell, IN)

Next up, the Chargers play the Vincennes Lincoln Alices (Vincennes, IN) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, November 14. Pike Central will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Alices enter the game with a 0-3 record after their 56-48 league loss to Evansville Mater Dei (Evansville, IN).
