Woodland Baptist Christian Eagles (Winston-Salem, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Wilson Christian Academy Chargers (Wilson, NC), 44-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Woodland Baptist Christian upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host Southview Christian (Statesville, NC) to play the Conquerors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 14. The Conquerors come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Southview Christian won 44-41 in their recent non-league bout against Cornerstone Christian Academy (Statesville, NC)

Next up, the Chargers play the Liberty Christian Patriots (Durham, NC) in a bout, on Monday, November 27. Wilson Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
