The Lynden Lions volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Sammamish RedHawks to 0 in the Lions non-league victory on Friday.
The Lions now have a 22-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tumwater for a non-league game on Friday, November 10. Lynden will meet a Thunderbirds team coming off a 3-0 league win over Black Hills (Tumwater, WA). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 8-5.
The RedHawks (8-6) will now prepare for their game against Shadle Park (Spokane, WA). The Highlanders enter the non-league game with a 20-6 record. In their last game, Shadle Park dropped by Pullman (Pullman, WA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
