Great Hearts Irving Mustangs (Irving, TX) boosters were thrilled Monday as they saw their basketball team bounce the visiting Varsity Opponent (, ), 66-34 in a league game.

The Mustangs now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Gateway Charter Academy for a non-league game on Friday, November 14.

With the loss, Varsity Opponent falls to 12-78 on the campaign. The travel to Christian Educational Consortium (Louisville, KY) to face the Cougars in a non-league outing on Monday, November 10. The Cougars enter the outing with a record of 0-0.
