In Friday's non-league match, the host Glenn Grizzlies basketball team scored a tight 47-44 triumph over the Pflugerville Connally Cougars.

In their next game, the Grizzlies meet the Taft Raiders (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league match, on Saturday, November 12. Glenn will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Raiders enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 60-59 non-league loss to Boerne-Champion (Boerne, TX).
