Texas High School Basketball - Sterling tipped by Wheatley

The Wheatley Wildcats basketball team scored 76 points and held the host Sterling Raiders to 69 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aldine for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 15. Wheatley will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 68-34 non-league loss to West Brook (Beaumont, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-2.

The Raiders (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Clear Falls (League City, TX). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Clear Falls was nudged by Houston Christian (Houston, TX), 84-81, in a non-league contest.
