The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Blanchard Lions (Blanchard, OK) and the visiting Weatherford Eagles (Weatherford, OK), observed Blanchard's football squad edge Weatherford by a count of 14-12.

The Lions now own a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Cushing for a non-league contest on Friday, November 18. Blanchard will play a Tigers squad coming off a 48-0 non-league win over Broken Bow (Broken Bow, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 11-0.
