DeSoto Thunderbirds (West Helena, AR) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team nudge the host Tensas Academy Chiefs (St. Joseph, LA), 20-18 in a non-league test.
With the win, DeSoto improves its record to 10-3 on the season. The Thunderbirds travel to Lee Academy (Marianna, AR) to confront the Cougars in a non-league test on Friday, November 18. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 11-1. Lee Academy won 44-24 in their recent non-league test against Riverdale Academy (Coushatta, LA)
With the loss, Tensas Academy moves to 9-2 on the season.
