The East Ascension Spartans football squad scored 37 points and restricted the visiting West Ouachita Chiefs to 0 in the Spartans non-league victory on Friday.

The Spartans now possess a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Neville for a non-league battle on Friday, November 18. East Ascension will play a Tigers squad coming off a 51-28 league win over Franklin Parish (Winnsboro, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 7-2.
