The Montgomery County Eagles football team (Mt. Vernon, GA), was beaten 35-26 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Wilcox County Patriots (Rochelle, GA)

The Patriots (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lanier County (Lakeland, GA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, Lanier County achieved victory over Miller County (Colquitt, GA), 14-13, in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 4-7 record.
