In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Angola Hornets basketball team scored a tight 48-46 triumph over the DeKalb Barons.

In their next game, the Hornets face the Norwell Knights (Ossian, IN) in a non-league match, on Saturday, November 12. Angola will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 2-0 record after their 91-37 non-league win over Mississinewa (Gas City, IN).
