Emerson Mavericks (McKinney, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Panther Creek Panthers (Frisco, TX), 72-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Emerson upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Mavericks travel to The Colony (The Colony, TX) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 15. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
