In Friday's non-league contest, the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM) volleyball squad were winner over the host Artesia Bulldogs (Artesia, NM), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Elks/Elkettes battle the Goddard Rockets (Roswell, NM) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, November 12. Pojoaque Valley will attempt to better on its 21-4 season record. The Rockets go into the contest with a 21-4 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM).

With the loss, Artesia moves to 17-9 on the year.
