Jackson Jaguars (Atlanta, GA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Carrollton Trojans (Carrollton, GA), 71-67 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Jackson upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 14. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Trinity Christian won 72-66 in their recent non-league bout against Landmark Christian (Fairburn, GA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Paulding County Patriots (Dallas, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 21. Carrollton will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
