Louisiana High School Basketball - Rapides nips Family Christian

Rapides Mustangs (Lecompte, LA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Family Christian Flames (Baton Rouge, LA), 48-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Rapides upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Stanley (Logansport, LA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Monday, November 13. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 0-3.

Next up, the Flames play the Louisiana School for the Deaf War Eagles (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 13. Family Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The War Eagles come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 43-35 non-league win over Mississippi School for the Deaf (Jackson, MS).
