The Lamar Texans basketball team (Houston, TX), dropped 50-41 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host North Shore Mustangs (Houston, TX)

The Mustangs now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cypress Springs for a non-league battle on Tuesday, November 14. North Shore will battle a Panthers team coming off a 72-66 non-league loss to Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.

The Texans (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Clear Lake (Houston, TX). The Falcons come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Clear Lake prevailed over Spring Woods (Houston, TX), 85-40, in a non-league battle.
