Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Milby Buffs (Houston, TX) and the visiting Terry Rangers (Rosenberg, TX), saw Milby's basketball squad hold off Terry by a count of 69-65.

With the victory, Milby upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Buffs travel to Waltrip (Houston, TX) to play the Rams in a 5A Region III District 19 challenge on Monday, November 13. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Waltrip won 77-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Northbrook (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Rangers play the Brazoswood Buccaneers (Clute, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 14. Terry will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 75-59 non-league loss to Fort Bend Austin (Sugar Land, TX).
