The North Panola Cougars basketball team (Sardis, MS), dropped 60-50 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS)
The Trojans now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Louisville for a non-league battle on Tuesday, November 14. New Hope will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 65-55 non-league win over Lafayette (Oxford, MS). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-1.
The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Coffeeville (Coffeeville, MS). The Pirates come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Coffeeville prevailed over J.Z. George (North Carrollton, MS), 67-42, in a non-league battle.
