The Ridge Point Panthers basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Randle Lions to 35 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Panthers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Angleton for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 14. Ridge Point will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 71-65 non-league win over New Caney (New Caney, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.

The Lions (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Cinco Ranch (Katy, TX). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Cinco Ranch ran past Klein Cain (Houston, TX), 58-57, in a non-league contest.
