In Saturday's non-league outing, the South Gwinnett Comets (Snellville, GA) basketball squad beat the host Stephenson Jaguars (Stone Mountain, GA), by a margin of 66-49.
The Comets (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Heritage (Conyers, GA). The Patriots go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Heritage was beaten by Rockdale County (Conyers, GA), 67-51, in a non-league outing.
The Jaguars now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Campbell for a non-league outing on Friday, November 17. Stephenson will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 61-49 non-league win over Heritage (Newnan, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-0.
