Connecticut High School Football - Ellington topped by CREC [Computer Science and Engineering/Academy of Aerospace and Engineering]

The Ellington Knights football team (Ellington, CT), was beaten 40-21 in Saturday's league challenge with the host CREC [Computer Science and Engineering/Academy of Aerospace and Engineering] Eagles (Enfield, CT)

The Eagles (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Stafford/Somers/East Windsor (Stafford Springs, CT). The Bulldogs come into the Pequot - Uncas challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Stafford/Somers/East Windsor was beaten by Rockville (Vernon, CT), 35-0, in a league challenge.

The Knights now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Coventry/Windham RVT/Bolton/Lyman Memorial for a Pequot - Uncas challenge on Friday, November 17. Ellington will meet a Patriots team coming off a 49-8 league loss to Granby Memorial/Canton (Granby, CT). The Patriots record now stands at 0-8.
