Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the North Clayton Eagles (College Park, GA) and the host Luella Lions (Luella, GA), saw North Clayton's basketball squad knock off Luella by a tally of 58-39.

With the victory, North Clayton improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Morrow (Morrow, GA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 13. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Lions play the Woodland Wolfpack (Stockbridge, GA) in a challenge, on Saturday, November 18. Luella will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
