The New Home Leopards basketball team (New Home, TX), was nudged 52-46 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Canyon Eagles (Canyon, TX)
The Eagles now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Amarillo for a non-league battle on Tuesday, November 14. Canyon will confront a Sandies team coming off a 66-54 non-league loss to Mansfield Timberview (Arlington, TX). The Sandies record now stands at 6-2.
The Leopards (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Idalou (Idalou, TX). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Idalou edged Hale Center (Hale Center, TX), 66-55, in a non-league battle.
