Delta Eagles (Muncie, IN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Centerville Bulldogs (Centerville, IN), 54-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Delta upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host New Castle (New Castle, IN) to play the Trojans in a Hoosier Heritage bout on Tuesday, November 14. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 0-4. New Castle lost 50-23 in their recent non-league bout against Union City (Union City, IN)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Connersville Spartans (Connersville, IN) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, November 15. Centerville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 54-43 non-league win over Shenandoah (Middletown, IN).
