The Orange Beach Makos (Orange Beach, AL) basketball nipped the visiting Vigor Wolves (Prichard, AL), 36-34 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Makos (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Bryant (Irvington, AL). The Hurricanes go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Bryant got by Rain (Mobile, AL), 44-20, in a non-league test.
The Wolves now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Blount for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 14. Vigor will encounter a Leopards squad coming off a 53-15 non-league win over LeFlore (Mobile, AL). The Leopards record now stands at 1-2.
