Palacios Sharks (Palacios, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) (Uvalde, TX), 44-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Palacios upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Sharks travel to Ganado (Ganado, TX) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 11. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Ganado won 46-44 in their recent non-league bout against Uvalde (Uvalde, TX)

Next up, the Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) play the San Antonio Memorial Minutemen (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 16. Uvalde will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
