El Cerrito Gauchos (El Cerrito, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Oakland Tech Bulldogs (Oakland, CA), 64-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, El Cerrito upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Gauchos travel to American Canyon (American Canyon, CA) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 15. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Saint Mary's Panthers (Albany, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 24. Oakland Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
